There are a number of reasons for installing an Omne-Home Network Controller in your home. They include, enabling the flexibility for locating your PCs, their peripherals, TV sets and sound systems anywhere inside or outside your home, without expensive wires and connectivity problems.

Q2 How big can the Omne-Home network be and how far can it reach?

Your Omne-Home network can be expanded up to 255 device connections.

Every home is different in size and shape.  Some have outdoor entertainment areas such as pools, patios and gardens.  Some have unattached buildings such as a garage or barn.  Your network can extend into these areas using our Omne-Play and Omne-Reach devices or your own PDA and Laptop Computer.

Q3 How many places does the Omne-Home Network Controller have to be installed to reach all around my home?  Will it service all my current and future PCs, TVs, Sound products and Games all at once?

You will only need one Omne-Home Network Controller to cover your whole home with network connections.  Omne-fi Networks can provide connective devices that will allow most of your existing products to be connected to your home network.

Q4 Currently I have two TVs, two PCs and a Stereo Sound system located in various rooms throughout the house.  What can an Omne-Home Network Controller do for my home using these appliances?

Most likely your TV is connected to a cable network... your PCs are connected to cable modem/DSL or dial up phone network... and you cannot move these items because they have been wired into the rooms of your home.

With an Omne-Home Network Controller your TV and Computer not only have the ability to be relocated anywhere inside and outside your home, but each TV can be given the features of a PC and change the channels without affecting others watching programs on the family room TV.

Exactly!  Your automotive and personal systems can connect with any information that is currently distributed by the Omne-Home Network Controller. This information can be collected earlier for you, or enabled through those systems to select upcoming programs to be stored.  Access programs from the Internet, Cable Networks, or other public wireless networks.

The Omne-Home Network Controller is a seamless extension of the broadband Internet, and secure access to home systems, information and programs can be achieved wherever the Internet can be accessed.

Q8 While I have complete access to my home, how can I be assured that other people outside my family don’t have access to my network?

The Omne-Home network and it’s components are isolated through security features in a number of ways. The Omne-Home network channels are private form other nearby home networks.  The private home network is isolated and protected from the public Internet and broadcast networks by the Omne-Home Network Controller and its security and firewall features.

Q11 Why do I need an Omne-Home Network Controller?

Only one Omne-Home Controller is needed for a complete wireless home network. The controller provides the isolated point between the public internet networks and private home networks, while providing a bridge between the wired and wireless devices. This common unit provides centralized storage and distribution for home information.

Q12 How many Omne-Play devices do I need for the network?

Omne-Play devices are basically intelligent processors that enable legacy TV displays to have access to the Internet and distributed home television and WEB programs.  Omne-Play also is the interface to home automation systems. The number needed across your network depends on the level of audio visual and home automation you are interested in achieving.

A Personal Video Recorder is built into the Omne-Home Network Controller.  A program guide with a list of recorded and recordable shows, is available with the use of a browser from anywhere in the world or in your home.

Q15 I have a stack of consumer electronic systems (CD, DVD, TV, PVR, VCR, Games) that operate via a remote control.  How do I operate them from other places outside the room?

An intelligent consumer device such as a PDA is connected through the Omne-Home Network Controller and placed in the same room as the equipment stack.  Controlling commands can be sent to the CD, DVD, TV or VCR through the Omne-Home Network Controller through your PDAs IR port.
